Black Teas
|
Darjeeling |
Considered the champagne
of tea, Darjeeling tea is generally smooth. Lighter in color
than most black teas, the flavor is solid, approaching a fruity,
nutty flavor. |
|
Ceylon |
From Sri Lanka,
this is a medium bodied tea with a lemony flavor. This tea goes
well with lemon and milk and is also excellent iced. |
|
Assam |
Assam tea are generally
hearty and more full bodied. This heartiness makes them a great
choice for breakfast teas. Our assam can be mixed with milk and
rock sugar for a change. The flavor is malty-fruity. |
|
Yunnan |
Our Yunnan is a
Pu-Erh tea. Pu-Erhs are generally heavier, more full bodied than
other black teas. Despite its hearty flavor, this is a very smooth
tea that is quite forgiving to brew. This tea goes well with
a meal and has a sweet, earthy flavor. |
|
Pasir Nangka |
We have chosen Pasir
Nangka for its smooth and refined characteristics. Indonesian
teas in general lack briskness and have a slight spicy aroma.
We recommend using this tea to make your own ginger tea, lemon
grass tea and chai. |

Blended Black Teas
| Earl
Grey | The
most popular tea in the west, the flavor originates from a medium
bodied blend of fine black teas with the oil from the Bergamot
citrus tree. A good tea for both breakfast or late afternoon. |
|
English Breakfast | Another popular blend,
this tea goes well with milk and sugar as the English prefer
it. Milk first! |
